Since the concept of ESG was first introduced by the United Nations Global Compact in 2004, it has gradually emerged as a crucial benchmark for evaluating corporate performance and is the cornerstone of earning trust from customers and investors.
Within ESG, environmental protection encompasses issues such as climate change, pollution and waste management, and renewable energy; social responsibility includes human resource development, product safety responsibility, and stakeholder rights; while corporate governance focuses on business ethics, competitive behavior, financial system stability, and transparency.
